1. What Is a Hukm Shar'i?

In Fiqh, describing the Shari'ah status of an action is called a hukm shar'i. It tells us which Shari'ah category the action belongs to.

For example, calling an action Farz, Wajib, or Mubah describes its Shari'ah status.
