In Fiqh, a Madhhab is an organized juristic tradition attributed to a Mujtahid Imam. The Imam's transmitted juristic views and the tradition's principles and rulings were studied, explained, organized, and transmitted by his students and later jurists. This enables a learner to study Fiqh as a connected scholarly tradition rather than a collection of disconnected answers.

A Madhhab is not merely an isolated personal opinion; it is a tradition attributed to a Mujtahid Imam and developed and organized through the scholarly work of jurists.

2. Study Through the Hanafi Scholarly Tradition
