1. Introduction to Bab Tafallul (تفعلا) and Tafaw'ul (تفول)

◦ Bab 4: Tafallul (تفعلا): Prefixes ت before the first root letter and inserts Alif (ا) before the last root letter (تَفَعْلَلَ or تَفَعْلَا pattern, e.g. تَعَفْرَتَ). ◦ Bab 5: Tafaw'ul (تفول): Prefixes ت before the first root letter and inserts Waw (و) between the first and second root letters (تَفَوْعَلَ, e.g. تَجَوْرَبَ).

2. Complete Sarf Sagheer of Bab 4 (تَعَفْرَتَ)

تَعَفْرَتَ يَتَعَفْرَتُ تَعَفْرُتًا فَهُوَ مُتَعَفْرِتٌ الأَمْرُ مِنْهُ تَعَفْرَتْ وَالنَّهْيُ عَنْهُ لَا تَتَعَفْرَتْ ◦ Paradigm scope: This paradigm does not include passive forms or Ism Maf'ool. ◦ Active Past/Mudhaari': تَعَفْرَتَ يَتَعَفْرَتُ (He became devilish / becomes) ◦ Verbal Noun (مصدر): تَعَفْرُتًا (Meaning: to become like a devil) ◦ Active Participle: مُتَعَفْرِتٌ ◦ Imperative: تَعَفْرَتْ | Prohibitive: لَا تَتَعَفْرَتْ.
