1. Introduction to Bab Tafay'ul (تفعلی) and If'enlaal (افعنلال)

◦ Bab 8: Tafay'ul (تفعلی): Prefixes ت before the first root letter and adds an extra Ya at the end (تَقَلْسَىٰ). ◦ Bab If'enlaal (اِقْعِنْسَاس): Prefixes a connecting Hamzah, inserts a Nun (ن) after the second root letter, and repeats the final root letter (اِقْعَنْسَسَ). This pattern belongs to ملحق بہ احرنجم (attached to اِحْرَنْجَمَ).

2. Complete Sarf Sagheer of Bab 8 (تَقَلْسَىٰ)

تَقَلْسَىٰ يَتَقَلْسَىٰ تَقَلْسِيًا فَهُوَ مُتَقَلْسٍ الأَمْرُ مِنْهُ تَقَلْسَ وَالنَّهْيُ عَنْهُ لَا تَتَقَلْسَ ◦ Paradigm scope: This paradigm does not include passive forms or Ism Maf'ool. ◦ Active Past/Mudhaari': تَقَلْسَىٰ يَتَقَلْسَىٰ (He wore a cap / wears) ◦ Verbal Noun (مصدر): تَقَلْسِيًا (Meaning: to wear a cap) ◦ Active Participle: مُتَقَلْسٍ (ends in dropped Ya with Kasratayn) ◦ Imperative: تَقَلْسَ (ends in dropped Ya, with Fathah) | Prohibitive: لَا تَتَقَلْسَ.
