◦ Now we study the emphatic command using Light Noon (نونِ خفیفہ), which is silent/saakin (نْ). ◦ Just like the present tense rules we learned in Level 17, the Light Noon is structurally restricted to exactly 8 conjugation forms (ṣīghahs). ◦ It is completely absent from all dual forms and both plural feminine forms.

2. Excluded Forms (Why 8 instead of 14?)

◦ The Rule of Exclusion: Light Noon is excluded after the dual Alif in this paradigm to avoid the gathering of two consecutive silent letters (اجتماعِ ساکنین). ◦ This rule excludes: ◦ All 4 Dual forms (which end in the Alif of dual). ◦ Both 2 Plural Feminine forms (which insert Alif-e-Faasil before the Noon). ◦ Excluded: 4 + 2 = 6 forms, leaving exactly 14 - 6 = 8 forms.
