إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ أَحْمَرَ وَلَا أَسْوَدَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَفْضُلَهُ بِتَقْوَى (رواه أحمد) Translation: You are not better than a red or black person unless you surpass that person through taqwa. إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ، وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ، وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ (رواه مسلم) Translation: Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth. He looks at your hearts, intentions, and deeds. Key words Arabic word English meaning يَنْظُرُ he looks, he considers صُوَرِكُمْ your forms and appearances (singular: صُورَة) Simple explanation - Purity of the heart: Outward beauty and great wealth have no value before Allah by themselves.
