Lesson
1. سُورَةُ الهمزة
The surah warns against mocking, backbiting, and trusting in gathered wealth. It is a Makki surah with 9 ayahs. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
2. وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾
Woe to every scorner and mocker
3. ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿٢﴾
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
4. يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﴿٣﴾
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
5. كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
6. وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
