Lesson

1. سُورَةُ الإنفطار

The surah reminds us that the world will change on the Last Day and that every deed is recorded. It is a Makki surah with 19 ayahs. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

2. إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ ﴿١﴾

When the sky breaks apart

3. وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ ﴿٢﴾

And when the stars fall, scattering,

4. وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ﴿٣﴾

And when the seas are erupted

5. وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ﴿٤﴾

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],

6. عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ﴿٥﴾

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
