Lesson

1. سُورَةُ الإنشقاق

The surah describes the sky and earth on the Last Day and says that every person will meet the result of their effort. It is a Makki surah with 25 ayahs. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

2. إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ ﴿١﴾

When the sky has split [open]

3. وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٢﴾

And has listened [i.e., responded] 1 to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

4. وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ﴿٣﴾

And when the earth has been extended

5. وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ﴿٤﴾

And has cast out that within it 1 and relinquished [it].

6. وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٥﴾

And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -
