1. Surah Al-Mutaffifin — Part 4

Continue the word-by-word study of Surah Al-Mutaffifin with ayahs 16–20.

2. ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ﴿١٦﴾

Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.

3. ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."

4. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ ﴿١٨﴾

No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ʿilliyyūn.

5. وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ ﴿١٩﴾

And what can make you know what is ʿilliyyūn?

6. كِتَـٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ﴿٢٠﴾

It is [their destination 1 recorded in] a register inscribed
