1. Surah Al-Buruj — Part 4

Continue the word-by-word study of Surah Al-Buruj with ayahs 16–22.

2. فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ ﴿١٦﴾

Effecter of what He intends.

3. هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ ﴿١٧﴾

Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

4. فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ ﴿١٨﴾

[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamūd?

5. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ ﴿١٩﴾

But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,

6. وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ ﴿٢٠﴾

While Allāh encompasses them from behind.

7. بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ ﴿٢١﴾

But this is an honored Qur’ān

8. فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ ﴿٢٢﴾

[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
