Why is it disliked to perform voluntary prayers when food has been presented and one's heart desires it?

Because food will turn cold.
Because it occupies the mind and disrupts the required internal focus and humility (Khushu').
Because eating is a prerequisite for prayer.
Because the Imam will eat first.
